WHY YOU SHOULD LOSE WEIGHT

 


Good health begins with manageable weight which directly translates to agility. Most of the common diseases are as a result of being overweight. The average productivity of any human depends on this simple but crucial aspect of life. It takes very little deviation from our day-to-day activities to achieve or maintain the necessary body weight.

Eating right i.e. trying to maintain a balanced diet is not necessarily expensive but depends on how one does their shopping. Remember to always ensure half of your plate has either fruits or vegetables. It is advisable to have a heavy meal in the morning as the food is burnt out during our day-to-day activities. A light lunch is advised and an even lighter meal in the evenings or even fruits.

Excess weight strains the heart leading to increased blood pressure and bad cholesterol leading to diabetes. Less body weight translates to less medication which is strenuous to our budgets as well as our bodies.

A good mood is also associated with the right body weight. Happiness reduces the symptoms of depression. Decreased body fats transform a normally dull person into a joyous being and enhance relationships in both professional and personal interactions. This one aspect has pushed companies into organizing Team building escapades that mostly major on vigorous activities that effectively check on body weights. 

Manageable weight improves our immunity system making us stronger in fighting various infections. Science has it that cartilage production in the joints improves by at least 10% with reduced body weight and this greatly reduces the risk of arthritis.

Regular exercise for those who drive or sit for long while losing weight is also associated with better sex drive and increased fertility in women thus raising their chances of getting pregnant. This translates in some cases to stability in marriages leading to stable generations.

Those using public means should try and alight one or two stops ahead or after one's bus stop and walk the short distance every day. This greatly helps those who may not find time to exercise or jog. A brisk walk takes care of everything. Jogging or normal walks during weekends and if possible every day.

Joining a health club or pursuing a high school sport for those who can afford it or even have time. Health clubs have mushroomed all over thus sensitizing on the need for checking on body weights. Being overweight used to be almost a taboo but it has been embraced whereby having the right body weight has become the in-thing.

When one's mobility is high, one tends to be tired after a day's activities thus leading to good sleep. This relaxes the body and mind and leads to a good mood that translates positively to colleagues and family too.

Increased production in every aspect of growth is directly associated with human contribution and this is directly impacted on our day-to-day activities. What drives this growth is largely the right body weight, we should all strive to achieve the right body weight.
